Students that challenge themselves to take AP classes most of the time have in mind to pursue higher education. It is my duty as an educator to assist them in doing the best that they can not only in the class but also when it comes to the AP Exam. The novels that we selected are current authors that many of my students can relate with because they have heard of Jorge Ramos and Maria Elena Salinas being that both are of Mexican decent and either they or their parents have watched them on a daily basis broadcasting the news.
