Each week, I create new counseling themes and posters for my school-wide counseling program. I utilize creative bibliotherapy, multi-sensory play and art therapy, as well as other modalities to ensure that all students can learn and practice their counseling skills.
As a counselor split at two elementary schools, my total caseload is over 600 students. My resources are spread incredibly thin, and I am creating a school counseling program from scratch at both schools. My counseling and positive behavior interventions and support (PBIS) program are vital in creating a safe, supportive environment in the classrooms, playground, and more.
My students are avid readers and passionate learners. They absorb our counseling lessons every week and constantly recite our counseling practices in various situations. My students deserve the best! Please help me give them the resources they need to succeed!
