Robotics teams bring together computational, mathematical, and engineering thinking with the design process, communication and collaboration. Designing, building and coding a robot from the first screw and servo is a transformative experience that few public school students will benefit from in underfunded urban districts.
For the first year in its eighty-five years history, our school is offering any student an opportunity to learn modern coding languages, build website and mobile apps. We work together as a team that competes in the First Tech (robotics) Challenge and CyberPatriot XIII.
We are a team of four volunteer teachers and thirty students that meet several hours a week. This program seeded by four generous teachers, dedicated to teaching STEM fields. We rely on donations for the requested motor hubs, gear packs, books, and other materials and tools from to continue advancing our team.
