Each year, 180-200 sewing students create a quilt in my Family and Consumer Science classroom at St. Johns high school. Traditionally, they have made a small blanket that was not hard to quilt with our machines, but at the request of many students, we have increased the size to about a queen-sized quilt! This offers students the opportunity to create a blanket they will use for many years. With that being said, it is much more difficult to quilt these together and with a long arm machine, students will have a way to secure their blankets with a professional look. Please consider donating!
