I love working with my incredible students! They come to school every day eager and excited to learn. I strive to foster a safe and inclusive community for my scholars, so that we can challenge ourselves as learners, solve problems, make mistakes, and grow from them. They are inquisitive, thoughtful, caring, and brilliant first graders! My classroom is made up of students who come from many racial and ethnic backgrounds, and many are English Language Learners. Since many of my students are language learners they need hands on, visual activities to get the most out of their learning. However, due to budget, there are not enough materials for students to use in class. I want to help my students by providing them with the resources they need to succeed, and to ensure that they have the equitable education they deserve.
