My students are a group of amazingly creative kids, grades Kindergarten to Fifth Grade.
In my art classroom we get to experiment with all different types of art supplies, techniques, colors and learn about different artists from all over the world.
Together we develop our art skills, while learning responsibility and collaboration working as a team in table groups.
Art history and current artists are also a huge part of our art class curriculum. We learn about different styles of art from over the centuries and today.
Children's Books are Ms. Fletcher's favorite component in art class. The stories from Children books are used to inspire the student's art projects. Perhaps an even bigger inspiration is the illustrations found inside the book's pages, giving the kids a deeper look into the story and different art techniques that bring everything together.
