The flipped classroom idea has students creating and directing their own version of their understanding. They can create virtual field trips, demonstrate a real life scenario for a math commercial or perhaps do a recreation of a battle scene from the Alamo. The IPad lessons will help them and their peers gain a higher level of comprehension.
The student becomes the teacher by creating their own engaging video lesson with the use of an iPad. Students learn more efficiently and effectively when they can hear lessons repeated, taught by a fellow peer, and given multiple chances to understand the learning objective.
The use of an iPad created lesson will help my students stay engaged in their learning and become educators themselves.
