The children in my classroom are motivated and energetic young learners who come to school everyday with a bright smile! They are inquisitive children who wonder about the world and how things work. My children are explorers, scientists, artists and young scholars!
The majority of children in my classroom are dual language learners and come from different Latin American countries as well as Bangladesh, the Middle East and the Caribbean! We embrace each other's cultures by singing songs in different languages, greet each other in different ways and discuss what makes us different and alike!
My classroom is a warm environment filled with developmentally appropriate materials that spark curiosity and engagement. It feels like home to the children as it has many photographs of their families as well as their work, photos and art. They each have their own space where crafts, drawings, notes, etc. are displayed.
