I work in a Title I School where 89% of the students in my school qualify for free and reduced lunch. My 1st graders live in a vibrant and diverse neighborhood that not only suffers from poverty, but also mainly consists of English Language Learners. They are incredible students who, despite their economic situations, are still extremely motivated.
