My students need to be able to see programming in a tangible form, with a Sphero SPRK Robot and a Bit2.0 coding Robot Starter Pack. As our world becomes even more based in technology it is important for them to experience technology first hand. Have you ever seen a child's face light up when they are completely engaged in the learning? It is priceless! These two coding tools will allow my students to be even more engaged and see real programming in action! Our class will use these two STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math) tools to see practical real world problems get solved by their solutions.
Students will be able to use Sphere-o and Ozobot to create coding formulas and see these codes come to life. We'll be able to program directly into Sphere-o and color trails for Ozobot to take. This way we can integrate all the content areas into our learning. Of course there will be some engaging writing also!
