This is my first year teaching in a dual language Spanish classroom. During the first weeks of school, students have been excited to use our classroom library, which is great! However, the number of books I have in Spanish are very few.
I would love to provide students with a range of books, from picture books to chapter books, in Spanish to help them develop their Spanish reading skills. Some books are authentic Spanish books and some are translated from very popular children's books. Some of these book have also been requested by the students based on an interest survey given in class and conversations I have had with them.
