My students come to school every day with a smile on their faces and ready to learn something new. They are a group of 24 second graders who attend a Title I school in the heart of Hollywood. A majority of them are classified as English Language Learners and low income.
I first met my current students during summer school, and I know they have the capacity to accomplish all the goals they set for themselves. With the proper resources, motivation, and support, I am confident they can succeed academically. I want all my students, regardless of their socioeconomic background or language limitations, to have access to the technological skills of the 21st Century and reach their full potential.
