The World Wide Web is always evolving and growing. There are so many resources for students out there, and I want to make sure that they are receiving all the extra support that is available to them. We need Chromebooks in class to help my students find information for our class projects and learn to navigate the internet. In addition, there are supplemental programs online that our classroom uses which are amazing assets and follow along with our curriculum.
Our standardized tests are all computer based now, and it is very difficult when my students go to use the computer. Since they are hardly exposed to computers, it is a challenge for them to navigate. The mice are great for enhancing my students' fine motor skills and preparing them for their future tests. Unfortunately, our classroom computers were taken because they were outdated and will not be returned. As a result, my students have been missing out on the wonderful opportunities that they have to offer. This grant will help both our current class and future students!
