I am thrilled to be a second grade teacher and will provide anything and everything for my students, which is why I am here asking for your support. I want to encourage a love for reading in my classroom, which is possible when students have access to a diverse array of books in a classroom library. Your donation will go towards expanding a classroom library for students who have various literacy needs. It can provide a whiteboard for effective instruction in my classroom, which it does not currently have. My students who struggle with attention issues can focus better with noise cancelling headphones. Students who need flexible seating arrangements can use a clipboard to do their work. Small white boards can create an engaging check for understanding routine in the middle of a lesson.
Your donation would be greatly appreciated as it can help provide these essential classroom materials so that I can better support my students. It truly takes a village, and with your help my students of historically marginalized backgrounds can have all of the resources necessary for a successful year in second grade.
