This is my fourth year teaching and fourth year teaching third grade. I am so happy to have kept 3rd grade all these years, because I absolutely love it. I have two different groups of 24 students every day, because I teach in a dual-immersion school where students receive 50% of instruction in English and 50% of instruction in Spanish daily. I am the English instruction teacher for these amazing third graders!
Our school is located in the heart of Silver Lake and we have so many students from diverse backgrounds, learning needs, and interests. If there is one thing they all have one thing in common it has to be that they are all eager to learn. Virtual learning has not stopped that. They come to our Zooms ready to learn every morning and though being online all day isn't ideal, they work harder than ever. I am so proud of how resilient they have been throughout this whole pandemic.
