At my age I am unable to be truly engaged unless I’m comfortable. I want to provide students with the ability to work at different spots around the room to keep them comfortable, productive, and engaged. I wish to enhance their learning environment. My students love my current options, but options are limited as I just purchased a few things. I want a carpet that our whole group can fit on. My current carpet for instruction only fits 16 students. That forces some students to sit on the floor. A carpet that fits 26 sounds amazing . Our school uses workshop model learning. Everyday my 22 students sit on the carpet for a short lesson. Then, I send my 22 students off to read around the room. I’m trying to provide them with comfortable seating. Let’s get comfortable!
