My students attend a public school in California. 98% of the student population at our school is Hispanic, and about half of this students are English Language learners. All of our students receive free lunch.
The students in my class are in Transitional Kindergarten. Transitional Kindergarten is a new program to our school. It is unique and targets kindergarten students that are still 4 and students that are not developmentally or academically ready for the Traditional Kindergarten program.
