My 2nd grade classroom is a diverse community of learners, including high-ability students, English Language Learners (ELLs), and bodily-kinesthetic learners who thrive through movement and hands-on experiences. My students show a strong love for creative expression and are highly engaged in activities that challenge their critical thinking skills. Instruction is differentiated to meet a wide range of needs—providing enrichment opportunities for advanced learners, language support and visual scaffolds for ELLs, and interactive, movement-based learning for kinesthetic students. Our classroom environment fosters curiosity, collaboration, and a growth mindset. We express ourselves in multiple ways and make real-world connections to our learning goals.
