There are 20 plus wonderful K children in my classroom. Some of these children have special needs, most come from impoverished homes, and all of them deserve the best I can give them. We use a curriculum that utilizes literacy and math workshops. Therefore I would like to fill my room with items and activities that would not only help my students develop these skills but to make it as fun as possible. They should be activities that the children will be drawn to, where they can use their imagination and communicate with their classmates. My goal is to have a classroom the children love to be in, a place they can't wait to come back too. But my goal is also to have a rapport with the families of my students. My desire is for the parents to WANT their child to be in my classroom once they see the opportunities that are available to them. Donors Choose is the way I can do that. A way to teach the whole child!
