Kaiser Elementary School students in Oklahoma City hunger to learn from visual art! These PreK-6th graders come from a community that is multicultural-comprised mostly of students from Hispanic cultures, yet also representing Asian and African American backgrounds. The students love to explore what skills they can achieve and express themselves through tactile projects and enjoy learning about artists from all over the world and creating art from their inspiration. Through art lessons at Kaiser, students build vocabulary, connect with scientific and mathematical principals, and increase geographical and cultural understanding as they deepen their knowledge of art history and art techniques with every lesson and project.
