Scholastic's Action Magazines present leveled reading to low-progressing reading students! Here, students will be excited to read about teens just like them; from the U.S. and abroad who might share relatable life challenges and who work to overcome amazing obstacles.
Scholastic's Action Magazines present bite-sized text for kiddos who don't prefer (or aren't yet capable/confident enough) to tackle a mammoth-novel such as "Twilight."
Most kids LOVE Reader's Theater, and Action Magazine does it best! The magazine also presents a perfect blend of nonfiction and fiction texts that students really get a kick out of! I teach more than 130 students each day, but a class set of 26 for sharing would work well.
