I plan to use the games to help build stronger social skills and a stronger community between my students. Many students come to school without their social skills sufficiently developed. Games help to build skills like fairness, dealing with disappointment, being a humble winner.
These materials will specifically be useful in organizing my reading areas as well as materials for the students' independent reading.
The boxes are more sturdy and will likely last throughout the year without having to worry about them breaking. By having a classroom library that is inviting to the students I hope to truly to develop a love of reading.
