The materials will make a difference in my students' learning by providing hands-on supplies like highlighters, expo markers, and line guides to highlight their evidence in their informational text, highlight errors during the revise and edit writing process, solve math equations on the dry erase boards or use finger focus manipulatives to help my emergent readers focus on the line of the text.
We use Chromebooks daily so providing students with their own pair of headphones would help them focus in on their own learning.
Since we're heading towards a technology-virtual society, it doesn't mean our growing students don't need tangible supplies to learn. The everyday essentials like erasers and glue sticks for their interactive journals are needed in the classroom for my students to continue to thrive in their education.
