My love for teaching began when I was six years old, I was completely engaged in the lessons given by my first grade teacher. She and other teachers along the way continued to be an inspiration to give back to my community. My decision to become a teacher was not only a career choice, but a way to ensure that the new generations would receive a fair education. Returning to my Alma mater has been a privilege and honor, I see myself in each of my students. I truly believe that each one of them has the potential to become productive citizens in our community.
