I am a fourth year teacher at a public school in Chicago. My students are in fifth, sixth, and seventh grade and come from very diverse backgrounds. For the fifth grade students this will be their first time having different teachers for certain subjects (I will be their science teacher). My homeroom will be the 7th graders and I will teach them ELA and science in collaboration with the other 7th grade ELA teacher and the 7th and 8th grade science teacher. :)
