I work in a second-year school where more than three quarters of our school comes from low-income households. Our school is still growing and changing, and classrooms lack Smartboards and technology. We are an ICT classroom where 40% of our students receive IEPs with special accommodations.
Many of our students are striving readers who are below grade level and working hard to foster a love of learning.
We are working hard to foster this love by giving students multiple opportunities to learn and get excited to become readers, authors, scientists and mathematicians!
