Students will benefit from flexible seating by being able to choose the seating arrangement in which they will be able to learn the most comfortably. By not having desk seating, students feel more able to focus as they will feel at home in the classroom.
Choices such as alternate tables, bean bags, stools, standing desks, couches, and exercise balls give students the freedom they need in order to not feel restricted in their learning abilities. Flexible seating is the way to go for higher concentration rates and more success in the classroom. Not only does it make learning more fun, but it addresses the needs of the melting pot.
