My students are diverse, and the things we do in class are diverse! Access to technology is limited with some of my students who come from low-income and immigrant families. Being able to use technology on a daily basis can help them build skills needed to be 21st century learners!
Chromebooks will open a whole new world of information for my students. Chromebooks will be used regularly in the classroom to facilitate translating, peer-reviewing writing, researching, accessing online practice, and creating online projects to show their learning.
Using Chromebooks in conjunction with our everyday interactive notebooks will help differentiate learning for students and help them access information in as many ways as possible. For students without technology at home, it will help to open an entirely new mode of learning for them! We also need a storage and charging station for our new Chromebooks.
