Forensic science means applying scientific methods and processes to solving crimes. In this class, students will examine crime scenes, collect evidence, analyze evidence in laboratory, draw a conclusion, and defend the conclusion in the court. The learning objectives covers a number of scientific branches including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Earth Science. These well-designed hands-on projects and case activities turn students into critical thinkers. They will work like detectives as they investigate different types of evidence, such as DNA, blood, fingerprint, hair, footprint, gun shot residue, ink analysis, glass, drug. These valuable experiences will help students build their knowledge and skills, and to apply what they learn to real-life challenges.
