My Students: Students in my music classroom love to sing, dance and play instruments!
Our school has a very diverse population of students and new students are joining us every month from countries all over the world. 33% of our students come from different countries from around the world. For many of my students, my classroom is the first opportunity they have to explore and play a musical instrument, to learn a folk dance or sing a new song; as a result I work to make the experience as positive and creative as possible.
I see my students once a week and with limited opportunities to learn instruments and experience arts outside of school, it is very important that the classroom music experience is a special experience for each of my young musicians.
