A huge goal of mine as a first grade teacher is to build and foster a love of reading in my students. After all, readers are leaders! Each day we work on building our reading stamina. The kids grab their book boxes and spread out around the room looking for a cozy spot to read. I believe these new floor seats will be a great addition to our classroom. It will add to the seating options we already have and allow more students the opportunity to get comfortable and focus on their task. I also plan to utilize these seats throughout other parts of our day as a flexible seating option. So they will certainly be put to good use!
