Welcome to 'The Real World: Chemistry' the true story of Central scholars picked to challenge themselves, work together and have their hard work celebrated to find out what happens when science class stops being abstract and starts getting REAL. My vision for my students is to provide an excellent chemistry education with real world application and context. Providing my students with an excellent science and math foundation can increase their post-high school career options. I want my students to have an excellent foundation in math and science so they can choose to pursue and be successful at STEM careers and to increase their interest in science fields by exploring the many different career options for science disciplines. My vision is to make my chemistry class relevant to their lives by rooting the lessons in real world applications through the class theme, 'The Real World: Chemistry.'
