I teach 3rd grade at a Title 1 school in San Diego's East County where our students come from very diverse backgrounds. Many students in my class are English Learners, including immigrants and refugees. With this diversity comes the need for additional teaching resources to meet a variety of educational needs and to provide opportunities for each student to reach their full potential. With over 75% of our school population considered low-income, our resources are often limited, so we are grateful for any extra support we receive from the community and beyond! Thank you for taking the time to read about our projects and considering a donation to help facilitate engaging and hands-on learning in our class!
