The materials that I am requesting will ultimately help my students in the hands-on approach to learning. The number one way for my students to learn is through hands-on experiences. Through hands-on learning, these diverse little minds are gaining a great deal of information through a multi-sensory approach. These materials will be used in small groups and/or direct instruction. With your donations, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement, fine motor skills, and their social-emotional development, which are crucial at such an influential age, and to make learning fun and enjoyable especially while learning a different language. With the requested materials my students will gain and be inspired to explore early math skills such as number recognition, matching, counting, ordering, problem-solving, fine motor skills through the self-correcting number puzzles, and the Ladybug Stones activity. Through all this, they will learn to follow multi-step directions while learning positional words and rhyme, building three-letter words (CVC), and letter recognition.
