My students will be diving into language arts, social studies, science and math. This year, my class will be exploring literacy standards via thematic units. First up Mesopotamia. The Boy of the Painted Cave is the perfect way to introduce them to Mesopotamia.
I cannot wait for my students to see the natural fluidity between subjects. I want them to make connections between the language arts novels I'm pairing with our social studies units so they can dig deep into our content. We need a class set of The Boy of the Painted Cave to help my students get EXCITED TO LEARN ABOUT ANCIENT CIVILIZATIONS.
