Kindergarten students are naturally active and it can be difficult for them to focus for long periods of time when having to sit still. These seating options increase engagement in the classroom.
Flexible seating allows my students to make choices that create the best possible environment for them to learn in.
By using flexible seating my kindergarten students get to take control of their learning by choosing their workspace each day. A few examples of options students will be able to choose from are a bean bag, ball chair, wobble cushion, or using a bouncy band on their chair.
