My goal is to have my students feel comfortable and at "home" while learning. This school year, I will teach around 75 students in fourth grade math. During a math lesson, students get up and move around the room, discussing and learning from one another. My classroom is a very tight space and students need more room to move around. Flexible seating will eliminate the large desk and chairs. During class student's use of technology throughout their lesson. If students have flexible seating, it will give them a comfortable seating area to relax and focus on the lesson they are completing on the iPads/Chromebooks.
