My students do best when their classroom materials provide opportunities for engagement in a multitude of ways.
These materials were each selected based on their ability to be explored using a variety of senses.
The Roll and Race Activity Ramp, for example, will allow my deaf and blind students to access our theme on transportation by feeling the different textures of car ramps while also naturally encouraging cooperative play, turn taking, and language development with peers.
Whether exploring our sense of hearing with the Easy Grip Jingle Bells, our sense of touch with the What’s Inside? Soft Feely Box, or our sense of sight with the Giant Sight and Sound Tubes, each student will feel included in our learning.
Thank you so much for supporting our goal of inclusion for all students through our exploration of senses!
