Due to new restrictions because of Covid, finding ways to make abstract topics understandable for my high-needs special education students has become especially difficult. By using art materials and extra storage for personal items, we will be able to create representations of the items we are discussing, making them more concrete for the students, and thus engaging them in the material. My students are incredible and deserve every opportunity to learn the same material as their same-age peers, but they need just a few more materials to make it happen. Your help would go a long way in making their high school experience as great as it possibly can be.

About my class
