The donations from this project will excel my students in their learning environment because the seat choices will be comfortable and purposeful. Much like an adult, if a student is sitting in an ergonomic position it allows the children to absorb information efficiently. As a teacher I must reuse self created activities and to ensure that they hold up over the years it is imperative they are stored properly. In addition to being positioned for success, the center's activities will be well-organized using these storage devices. The storage resources will enable small groups or individual students within my class, utilize activities by selecting appropriate skills or tasks from a container drawer, to meet the needs of the child and skills we are introducing or practicing in class. Each item has a purpose to enhance the student's abilities. My students will be able to sustain their attention longer with these seating choices in our room. For example, a child may learn better standing up, or keeping in motion and the disc seats and ergonomic balls are wonderful for sitting at their desk or group table to complete assignments or read! This allows the child to feel as though they are in motion, without actually moving around. Everything here will be used and loved for years to come!
