I am a special education teacher in a very low income community. I work with students ages 8-11. My students have a variety of disabilities such as emotional, behavioral, and learning disabilities. In addition, I have students with autism. Being a special education teacher means that it is crucial to use my time well with my students so they may catch up to their grade level and be with their peers.
