The rug is a hub inside a classroom, it facilitates learning, creativity, and acceptance. This a common meeting place where a lot of learning takes place and it needs to be comfortable. This is an area where concepts are introduced, stories are shared, and a place where each student is encouraged to share their personal ideas and experiences. This opportunity will give my students the chance to have a place where we can all come together comfortably for certain times throughout the day. Creating a feeling of community at an early age is critical in developing confident and capable learners. By donating to our project you will be making our classroom a more inviting and warmer place to be.
