Aside from the daily classroom supplies, we are also in need of supplies to create a memory book. My students to be able to reflect on their first year of middle school. They will be able to reflect on the first few months of 6th grade and use the writing strategies taught to them to write about different events: making new friends, having more than one teacher, having a locker, being more responsible and independent, etc. Creating a memories last a lifetime. This memory book allows them to think about what they would do differently next school year. The memory book can be see as a yearbook, especially for those who were unable to financially buy one from the school. They can share their memory book with their family, friends and teachers to relive those moments with laughs and joyful tears. My students need pencils, lined paper, white copy paper, colored copy paper, boxes of tissue, and disinfecting wipes.
