Our mission at Baylor College of Medicine Academy at Ryan (BCMAR), a Houston ISD school, is to prepare diverse students for rigorous high school programs, college, and careers through an innovative, accelerated health science program. Health science is a multidisciplinary field that employs health care professionals, computer scientists, communications specialists, artists, educators, engineers and more. Our health science theme thus offers a framework for students to gain the skills and knowledge needed for a wide array of disciplines.
