A teaching easel will help my students participate in teaching and learning activities while gathered together on the carpet or at the small group table. Students will be able to create charts and posters to anchor our learning, see information and books up close (rather than on the main board), interact with manipulatives and learning tools like magnetic letters on the easel board, practice handwriting, and so much more!
By using a teaching easel, we can establish an additional learning space in our currently too-cozy classroom. Not only will we use the easel daily for our Reading and Language Arts lessons, students will be able to have a small group learning center or station at the easel multiple times per week.
