Hi, folks! I am a fourth-year teacher who truly enjoys going to work each day. Though I know I'm not the world's greatest teacher all day every day, not a day goes by that I don't learn something -- about myself, about my content area, or about the students in my classroom. This profession energizes me because of the hope and change I see as teenagers learn more about the world and their place in it. I never tell students WHAT to think, but I sure do enjoy teaching them HOW to think for themselves, hear others' perspectives, and articulate their thoughts in an informed, confident, and tactful manner. By being on this site, you show we share some of the same values. Thank you for your dedication to public schools and to education in general.
