The different furniture will create a comfortable learning environment for all of my students so they can be more invested in his/her learning. The space more inviting and will help the culture of our classroom.
When students are given a choice in seating they become more accountable, which positively affects the students' engagement.
I have requested seating options such as wobble chairs and bean bags so students with sensory or behavior needs will have spaces they can release energy and continue to stay productive. The pillows and lap desks will be perfect for students to work individually or in small groups on the floor. The storage ottoman will help keep the room neat and tidy while also providing additional seating.
