My students come from different backgrounds, cultures and economic levels. They are 3 and 4 year olds who come to me with a variety of special needs including all ranges of the autism spectrum, language impairment, mobility concerns and social emotional needs. It is my belief that through play we can address these needs and prepare these students for life outside the classroom by noy only concentrating on their social emotional needs but by also incorporating language immersion and sensory stimulation through art, fine and gross motor activities. It is our goal that at the end of each day these children know they are loved and cared for by everyone who crosses their path and that they go home having learned something new.
About my class
