I have a group of vibrant, eager, and intelligent young boys and girls, who, unfortunately, often come to school, and LEAVE school, hungry! Yes, lunches are free, and proportioned according to the State of Oklahoma, but I'm reminded daily, and asked (just as often) if I "have any snacks?" I would give up my salary, if it meant no kids from Western Oaks would go hungry this year.
