I am a second grade teacher in Tallahassee, Fl. I have been teaching at the same school for 13 years. I have gotten to know my students, families and peer teachers very well. My students come from a small, tight knit, school community. We are considered a community school right on the outskirts of a capital city. We are a Title-One school that is currently 100% free lunch. Our school has been around for over 150 years in the same spot. I am also one of the sponsors for our STEAM after school club that offers 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students hands-on, STEAM related experiences.
